Would be nice that alternate series field was a list. A lot of comics are in more then one alternate series according to Comic Vine.

Good Idea, Thenuts.
We can use also to translate the serie original name for other language.

Well, it can parse multiple entries like any other field, the problem is that the alternate NUMBERINGS only give you one option. I believe we've talked about making these expandable before but the consensus was that it was problematic...

Where it can parse multiple values? Is there a special character to separate values?
I try to filter my lists using alternate series, but it don´t work when it have multiple values.
I can see the problem with the alternate numberings, and don´t have a idea to solve this, but I don´t believe the lack of solution to numbering should prevent this feature

Well, for example, if you were to put the alternate series as "Big Line-Wide Crossover, In-Title Storyline", a smartlist will match on List Contains either "Big Line-Wide Crossover" or "In-Title Storyline", just like a book with an artist list of "Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko" is searchable for either.

...as I'm writing this however I am testing the filter in the Library Browser and I see this DOESN'T work. EDIT: It will work in a Smart List though, I should be clear on this...I knew that already and figured it would carry over.

cyo, if we can't get these fields expandable, can we at least get them to work exactly like the writer/artist/etc fields? I sort of thought they did before just now.
