Hmm I cannot find that error, the buttons seem to work fine in new profiles. What are the exact actions to cause that error?

Main character and team have the syntax {<maincharacter>}.

@jericko
Glad you got it working

@rmagere
I can't seem to reproduce this. Does it happen every time? Does it happen when you are moving a large or small number of books?

Does this happen to anyone else?

You beat me to the punch, Stonepaw, but thanks. Dragonator gave me Abandonware Guilt, so I was just working on a fix this afternoon.

I didn't know if you were still around so I figured I would do a quick fix. Feel free to put your own version out.

Bet you looked at all those boolean checks and threw up a little in your mouth. Ditto here.
Yeah a little bit

Anyhoo, brilliant work, Stonepaw. And thanks for taking the initiative on, oh I don't know, everything.
You're welcome

There do appear to be some problems with the script.

Can you try the attached version and tell me if it works correctly? I've changed so it should work exactly the same as Expresso.

I am very sorry gravitypool but I could not figure out a regex to fit your examples

@Dragonator
The script can be found when right-clicking on a book->Automation->Tags from filename..

This should pull the series for you as long as there is a v right after the series name:
(?<Series>[^\\]*)(?:v\d*)

At long last I can release version 2.0 for you guys. Many thanks to 600WPMPO for redesigning the configure form.

Bugfix:
Possible crash when settings file cannot be loaded.

New:
Configure form redesigned
Added multivalue fields: Penciller, Inker, Colorist, Letterer, Cover Artist, Editor and Locations.
Function to export all the profiles to a single file.
Added a way to run several profiles in sequence.
Option to mark operations with specific empty data as failed. Can also move these to a different failed folder.
Option when overwriting a book to copy the read percentage of the old book to the new one.

Changes:
Much code has been rewriten with many many little tweaks and fixes.
Any field can now be put in the prefix or suffix of any other field
Fixed incorrect wording in report.
Yes/No fields can now have text inserted when the value is no OR yes
Multiple value fields can now be entered exactly as in the comic info. Just delete the extra variables from the template, leaving the name: for example {<tags()(issue)>} becomes {<tags>}

Warnings:
No longer supports profiles from 1.6 and earlier. If any are imported, some options will be reset to default.

Very nice. Somethings in there I've never thought to use.

One comment. The text used for the page headings is kinda hard to read sometimes.

Most are available in the Automation menu when you right click on a comic. Others can be found in the File->Automation menu.

Is there a particular script you are having trouble with?

I just came across an unusual situation. I often read some comics and some time after that, i get better versions of the same books. When i organize them, the script correctly prompts me to update the files, and all is fine with that.

Except for one thing. The read/unread state is not kept. Any way i could keep the state of the book being overwritten on the newer one?

I think I can add that in for the next version.

In answer to your first question, you could try grouping the main library by File Directory. Maybe not exactly what you want but it is useful.

Well Stonepaw, now that you've opened the box, I'm curious...what exactly do you mean by "running multiple profiles in sequence"?

Thanks buddy.

Like this:

It would then run Profile1 and the Profile2 and then Profile3. I'd imagine this would be useful with profiles with metadata rules.

Well the new configure form is done but in the process I ended up rewriting lots of things to work better. This let me add some new features I've been meaning to add.

I'm almost done. Just have to finish the one feature I'm working on (running multiple profiles in sequence) and then make the undo script work again.

ETA is when I'm done
Should be soon though.

There is such a feature already available.

Open ComicRack.ini which can be found in the installation directory. Change the line:
; CachePath =

to
CachePath = CompletePathtoCacheLocation

You can also create a ComicRack.ini file in %PROGRAMDATA%\cyo\comicrack or %APPDATA%\cyo\comicrack with that line in it. That way the cachepath won't be reset when you update the program.

@njd09:
I can see why that ones fails. Hopefully Helmic and I can come up with a fix.

Helmic may be nice enough to craft a cbw for you in the meantime.

@RavenMad:
The Meek and Red Moon Rising both seem to work fine for me. Did you put in the right Urls? Are you using 1.2?

As far as I know there is no way to add Tags to the DefaultLists and as far as I know only the ones already defined in the file are supported.

That tagging system is something alright. If it works for you, great!
