I'll second the comments on mediamonkey. A lot like ComicRack - intimidating because of all the options until you get in there and start using it.

Forgive me for being dense, but where do we find the commands to edit the library gauges? I've looked through the menus and the ini file and can't find them.

Look at the toolbar below the menus, on top of the place where the lists and smart lists show. There you'll find a little colored bar button with some options you can set.

Doh! Hiding right there in plain sight.

Thanks!

If we were looking for another field, we could add something like "day" or "week" to go along with month or year.

That would help in cases where a book is published more than once a month as well as for event crossovers.

Comicvine has a field for date, so I'm assuming that is scrapable as well.

I had similar problems this morning. I was scraping along, and then nothing. Haven't tried since.

I'm assuming it is a temporary glitch in the api.

I'd like to see an option to just show the overall total instead of the 3-part gauges for our lists.

Thanks.

I also wanted to put out a thank you for using a torrent as a distribution method!

I haven't had a chance to give it a thorough run-through, but what I've seen I liked!

Changing that line in the ini file did the trick. Thanks!

I didn't know if this belonged in bugs or in the language packs so forgive me if it is in the wrong place.

I'm running ComicRack 9.136 in English and I'm finding that it tends to skip "die" when sorting in alphabetical order. Probably because "die" is "the" in German and it is floating around in the code that way.

Example:

I just have to say that all this talk of a creating a database that is built to work with ComicRack has my librarian heart all a twitter.

I'm not a programmer, so I can't help that much with that side, but I would very happy to help setup the metadata standards end of things. Creating authority records, determining "best practices", etc.

What? OK, so I'm kind of into that type of stuff. That's what us librarians do.

I also would love to see DJVU support for the same reasons gr1mr34p3r said.

It also means one less piece of software I would have to have on my machine - cause ComicRack would do everything I need for a DJVU file program.

Just a pie in the sky idea -

Let us have different levels of internet sharing based on lists.

Examples:
I have a list of copyright free comics that I share openly, a temporary list that shows some books I share for a short time, and then rest available online but passworded.
Expansion of sharing ...

I've shared a small list of copyright free US government comics to test out if I'm visible.

Can anyone see it?

4) WebComic format is something I came up with. It's basically an xml based eComic format where the page images are located in the internet. Download the samples and look into them.

Forgive me for seeming dense, but where do we find the these samples to download?
