Yes. I make it a habit to backup every time before installing a new ComicRack version.

The backup file name the program suggests uses day-minute-year instead of day-month-year.
Although it's obviously by design, it does lead to some hard to sort backup files.

Yes.. I can confirm this.

Another thing that I wished to point out for a long time is that I suggest bringing in the database backup to a more accessible position on the preferences dialog (e.g. on the sidebar tabs on the left). At present it is so hidden that unless a user is highly motivated, he won't backup. You should also improve the database backup features, like backing up to dropbox/FTP server, asking a user at regular intervals questions like " ComicRack database hasn't been backed up in so-and-so days. Would you like to back it up now?"

The latest update should fix this issue the empty stack after delete.
You can now have stacks inside stacks. This is a feature
On each level you can change the display mode.

Yessir, we now have stacks within stacks in the android ComicRack. Why don't we have them in the Windows version is a mystery I'll spend my days trying to solve!

Actually I priced ComicRack the same as ComicZeal for IPad as I got the impression this may be the closest one feature wise.

But as cab noted, most of the buyers of ComicRack have tablets. Now, as the Android tablet market is only a small fraction of the IPad market it makes you wonder...

Mac users are hungry for a good comic managing app. Here is one app priced at $14 which doesn't come even close to comicrack:

I don't think anyone would mind a $40 price tag, as Mac users are probably richer than the Android ones!

1) I will change "Unread" to mean "Not finished" and not like it is now "Not started".

Just to remind: There was once a good request (windows version) to mark books as 'To be Read' (apart from the currently present 'read', 'unread'). Maybe this would be a good time to have this feature too..

And, just for the record, only yesterday I ordered for the new $40 ($24 at amazon) Morning Glories Deluxe Hardcover Vol.1 (collects issues #1-12). I've heard a lot of praise for these series, and can't wait to get my hands on it! I hope to receive the book within the next 10 days.

Only thing I noticed, I've already downloaded the file but I'm using a Mac now. I found out that this is a Windows program. I still have my old PC so I'll be able to open it there. What I'm looking for is to get all my own comics archive so I can read it on any device.

You can install windows as a virtaul OS on your Mac & then run ComicRack. Here are 2 threads you would like to read:

How can I add a cover to book..

Either use the addvariant.pl script (from malor89's perl scripts), or simple open file with WinRAR, and manually add your cover.
